D’ont Waste Time

New year, new resolutions, new hairstyle (perhaps), new everything…

A new year can motivate a lot of people to start changing their lives and develop new habits. If this works for you, awesome! Keep going and thrive!

In my case, this never worked, and I’m 100% sure I’m not the only one. I feel like the “new year” presses us to necessarily move things around in our life, and if you know me, I hate when someone else puts pressure on me!

To me, the best way to change your life is to be under your own pressure. When you are the person who forces you to do things, you don’t have the choice to hold yourself accountable. You watch after yourself better than anyone could ever, so you can’t hide.

The Perfect Time doesn’t Exist

If you are the one pushing yourself, you get to decide when you start! Isn’t it wonderful! Now before you scrunch back on your couch, remember that if you postpone your journey, you postpone your results too. But if you start today, the changes you want to see will come faster.

When I started my “level-up” “glow-up” journey, I just got up and started. I didn’t wait for the beginning of that month, for the new year, for whatever right moment to start.

I used to be that person too. I used to plan that on THAT date, I would start working out, or start my skincare routine, or start reading the bible. It’s only when I changed that “right time” mindset that I started seeing real changes in my life.

Another thing we like to do is to wait until we have everything we “need” We wait until we have the right ingredients, the right workout material, or the right room decor to start a new project. Let’s learn how to rely on what we currently have. There isn’t one single way to succeed in life, and you get to decide if you are going to let all those excuses stop you from it.
